WHAT HAPPENS

To give you an idea of what takes place during the four day session the first three days consist of the following programme

Divide into teams
Do 5-6 drills to present valuable coaching points
Short drinks break
Talk
Review of talks with team leaders/small group time (to make sure the young people understand talk, allow them to ask any questions and a time to share with them or to allow them to share with you)
Mini matches

The last day then takes the form of a world cup day. Teams are divided up, players represent a country appropriate to their bib colour and group matches are played. Then again the gospel message is simply proclaimed in a ten minute talk. A review time is in the middle then quarter finals, semi-finals and a final is played followed by presentation of Medals.

WHEN IT HAPPENS

The main event in our calendar is a week in August each year when we run our Summer Camp

There is two sessions each day. The first runs from 12 noon and this is with P2-P4. The second runs from 1.30 -3.30pm and this is for P5-Year 8. Every child is presented with a medal and on the Thursday night parent’s night Barbecue, after the world cup day, prizes are given out to player of the week boy/girl and player of the tournament boy/girl.
